Description

Every time I open Internet Explorer, or a new tab of IE, a Trojan Dropper is detected by Microsoft Security Essentials (and is therefore quarantined).

Category: Trojan Dropper

Description: This program is dangerous and installs other programs.

Recommended action: Remove this software immediately.

Hi almmj,

It appears that your PC is affected by a trojan attack. Perhaps you could try running Microsoft Security Essentials and click on "Clean computer" within the home tab of the program. That should help remove any quarantined virus/trojan/malware. Try and see if it helps.

Thank you for your feedback. This issue is currently caused by issues external to Internet Explorer.

It looks like you have a Trojan attached to your browser. You need to completely remove it before starting IE again.

If you still believe the problem is due to Internet Explorer, please file a new feedback with additional information.
