Classic IE is intended to maintain a "compatibility promise" that it will be compatible with all apps, sites, etc. as it was before. We are only making security fixes and nothing that may risk that compat promise. Thus resolving this issue won't fix.

firstdirect.com performs user-agent string detection to offer users different site functionalities based on the users' browser type. In this case the site wasn't able to correctly detect IE11's new user-agent string so the site does not render properly.

We're scheduling the site for inclusion on our Compatibility View list to mitigate this issue while we provide outreach to the site. Also as a temporary workaround, you can use the F12 developer tools to change the user-agent string to IE10 which will make the site render correctly.
