Description

I'm just one of many users having issue with FORCED IE 11 integration with Windows 8.1 update with no option to downgrade it to IE10. Seems that this policy/program was written by some moron or some MS enemy clearly knowing that whenever they publish a new version of IE, there comes some some compatibility issues with softwares/websites and they can't be upgraded over the night to support the new version of IE and this may lead to trouble and loss of many work hours.

MS should give an option to roll back to IE10 or previous version to their loyal program designers who coded the application/designed websites to support only IE as browser and now they have no other option but uninstall the entire 8.1. such one website is https://navinet.navimedix.com/sign-in?ReturnUrl=/ where login does not work.

I was forced to upgrade to Windows 8.1 on a year old HP workstation; only to discover IE 11 is the default and no option to roll back or install IE10
I have work apps that are NOT compatible with IE 11 and now disabled from performing job functions. Anyone at Microsoft have a suggestion here
So far unsuccessful at locating a download
IE 11 if uninstalled from "view installed updates" leaves you with NO browser after reboot
Now IE 11 appears to be in Add remove windows programs
This is really disappointing and frankly unacceptable

have we had any solutions yet? And PeterRow, you would think, but a lot of companies do. The Boeing Company and Lockheed Martin Aeronautics for example. My work with them is so specific that neither Chrome, nor Firefox work with their systems and I am forced to use IE. And then IE 9 at that.. IE 10 is glitchy and forget about IE 11. So Do we have any updates on this? For 10, I would press F12 and pull up the developer bar and downgrade the view to compatibility mode to IE 10-Compatible, for IE 9.. but now with IE 11, it's completely gone. Please advise, thank you.

Unable to access uscg.mil/uniform due to incompatibility with IE11. Suggested rollback to EI10 for access to site does not seem possible from the Surface I have.
What is the process to dump the IE11 and get to an IE10 configuration?

Thanks for logging this issue. The site http://navinet.secure.force.com has a bug in their UA String detection logic, so I've resolved this as external and we'll contact the site. In the meantime, we will send the site the IE10 UA string to make it work.

Sincerely,
The Internet Explorer Team

With IE-10 and Windows 8 I was able to get onto my work web site to conduct work from home. Now with IE-11 the site comes up but no information will display even after I click "show all content" on the pop up window. This is a nightmare! What the heck is going on with Microsoft?

IE 11 freezes when setting/installing printers on network vide DLink DPR-1260 - Firmware 1.21. Setup page cannot be accessed. Trying to install Brother HL-1110 attached to DLink DPR-1260.

Had no problem with Win8 & EI10.

WTF? Nobody in this day and age should be writing web sites/apps that specifically target IE only.
