I use IE 10. Now every time I open up, I get a message pop-up box asking whether I want to upload IE 11 now or later?

Answer, NEITHER.

I want to be able to use the internet without having to negotiate pop-ups for things I don't want. I'm OK with IE 10 but will be changing to Firefox so that I don't get pop-up boxes whenever Microsoft want to invade my internet use.

It's the same as all this Updater software running in background sapping performance. Unwanted, unwelcome, useless and hindering.
