Windows is installing automatic updates one of which is IE 11
I have had to reset to a previous reset point twice now, as when it has been installed, it causes my computer to crash as soon as anyone opens internet explorer.
Has anyone else experienced this?
How do I sop windows from automatically installing updates?
Is Microsoft looking into fixing this problem?

Hi Jackie,

To change the way windows handles updates, you can right click on the message flag in the system tray. There should be a short menu. Click on 'Open Windows Update'. Click on 'Change Settings'. On the change settings page there is a drop down menu under the heading 'Important updates'. Select one of the options that doesn't automatically install updates.

Are there other updates that have installed along with Internet explorer?

Best regards,
