I've been a Microsoft fan for years now, Windows Laptop, Nokia Lumia 1020 phone, an XBOX, and trying to get the Surface Pro 2.
But I've been thinking about Internet Explorer
From my personal use, i think it's a great software, on Windows Phone and Windows.
The thing is, from Internet jokes Internet Explorer has become a meme that symbolizes slowness, and i'm saying jokes like that on a daily basis on sites like Facebook, Tumblr, and 9GAG.
Only it's users know that it's just as fast as it's competitors. But, there is no stopping of a meme
So, a solution might be to re-create the browser
Maybe not create a whole new one, just a re design
Then renaming it into a more catchy name like "One Browse", because catchy names like "Chrome" "Safari" "Firefox" are also used daily and they're faster to pronounce than saying two full words like Internet Explorer.
I Love IE, but i'm getting sick of people bashing it
If you decide to maybe think about it, try to also add the new browser into Windows Phone 8.1 when it's officially released.
Thank you for hearing me out !

I would love to see cross-platform syncing (favorites bar and preferences linked to your Microsoft account) and availability on other OS's!
