Description

I have noticed that the Modern UI version of IE11 on Windows 8.1 Update 1 does not respect the CSS viewport width specification any more, whereas IE11 on the Desktop applies the viewport correctly.

Example
@media screen and (orientation:portrait) {
@-ms-viewport {width:650px;}
@-webkit-viewport {width:650px;}
@-o-viewport {width:650px;}
@viewport {width:650px;}
}
@media screen and (orientation:landscape) {
@-ms-viewport {width:1000px;}
@-webkit-viewport {width:1000px;}
@-o-viewport {width:1000px;}
@viewport {width:1000px;}
}

Thank you for the feedback. This issue does not reproduce in Microsoft Edge. We're not presently working on feature bugs in Internet Explorer outside of security-related issues. At this point we are resolving this issue as Won’t Fix.
Best Regards,
The Microsoft Edge Team

I have found out that the facebook sdk script is causing this bug. But on iOS and Android the viewport works as expected. Could be IE or Facebook related.
