Because the -inputObject parameter binds [object] ByValue, no other parameter of Invoke-Command will have an opportunity to bind pipeline input ByPropertyName; -inputObject will always snatch up the input objects.

Possibly this is just a doc bug; -computerName, -applicationName, -connectionUri, -credential, and other parameters are documented as binding ByPropertyName, but they physically can't. So it's a bit misleading and definitely sends you down a wrong path.

If the intention is for these to bind pipeline input ByPropertyName, then -inputObject will have to stop binding [object] ByValue.
