Description

Most of the other core PowerShell cmdlets, that leverage PowerShell Remoting / Windows Remote Management (WinRM), include a -UseSSL parameter. The purpose of this parameter, as I currently understand it, is to avoid the need to write extra PowerShell code to create and tear down persistent PowerShell or CIM sessions.

The Register-CimIndicationEvent cmdlet does not include the -UseSSL parameter, so if you wish to use a SSL connection, you must first write additional code to create a CIM Session that specifically requests a SSL connection to the SSL WinRM port (default: 5986).

Please add a -UseSSL parameter to this cmdlet in a future version of PowerShell.
