In Query Analyzer, there was a button on the toolbar to display/hide the Results pane. This appears to be missing in SQL Management Studio

I have been reviewing customer reports since 2006 and closing what is already resolved or enhanced as a part of SQL Server 2008.

The request is functioning in SQL Server 2008 with CTRL+R or adding Show / Hide Result button in the tool bar through Toolbar customization feature in SSMS.

Hi BigE1,

We've confirmed your issue. We will consider how to address this issue an similar ones in the next general release of SQL Server. Thank you so much for letting us know that this is important to you.

Having your input is the key to helping us make the next general release of SQL Server even better.
