Description

Dear Sir or Madam,

I have a quick but weird question - I downloaded and installed CTP version Feb 2008, but I can't find SQL Server Management Studio 2008?! Is there another link for SSMS? Thanks.

Even I can't find SQL Server Management Studio 2008. I did select the Client Tools option during the installation but no Management Sudio 2008 gets installed.

Is there a separate link for management studio 2008 now??

Thanks for letting us know about your problems installing sql server tools. We don't see this in current builds.
It is possible you didn't select workstation tools and components during setup. You should be able to run setup again and add just the client tools like Management Studio and Books Online.Updated.

Thanks,

jkh

I didn't see the submitter mention Express (plus, SQL Server 2008 beta releases, just like 2005 beta releases, are only available in developer edition)

The Express version isn't delivert with SSMS. You have to download the developer edition.
Altough you guys might want to notice it.

You probably didn't select workstation tools and components during setup (I don't think they are selected by default). You should be able to run setup again and add just the client tools like Management Studio and Books Online.
