User(s) can reproduce this bug
Reporting Services configured for SharePoint integration (WSS and SSRS on the same machine). The report server is operational and respond on http://sco1asdev07/ReportServer_SQL2008
System services has locked accessing the box to using IP address only and changed the WSS site to listen on port 8080 (instead of the default 80).
Deploy from BIDS fails with this exception:
“The path of the item 'http://10.11.1.6:8080' is not valid. The full path must be less than 260 characters long; other restrictions apply.”
Report Builder Client downloads and opens from the SharePoint site but when it tries to obtain the models, it fails with the same exception. Clicking the Report Server URL in the Report Builder Models pane, opens a dialog that shows the Report Server top folder. However, clicking the folder link returns an exception that credentials cannot be passed on URL"
SQL Server 2008 February CTP
Windows 2003 Enterprise
Operating System Language
Steps to Reproduce
http://10.11.1.6:8080/_vti_bin/ReportServer/ReportService2006.asmx pops up the browser credentials dialog. When I log in, I can see the web service page. However, this could be related to a cross-domain authentication issue as I am on a different domain then the domain the WSS server belongs to although I've been told that there should a trust relationship between both domains.
Report server cannot be accessed by IP address.

Hi Prash. After enabling DNS names and following the steps in the blog (http://prologika.com/CS/blogs/blog/archive/2008/05/09/sharing-lost-reports-with-web-users.aspx), we no longer experience this issue.
