Executing SQL Server 2005/2008/2008 R2 versions of BCP.exe for a stored proc that concatenates strings returns a FUNCTION SEQUENCE ERROR.

The stored proc executes fine using the SQL Server 2000 version of BCP.exe

have the same problem on:
Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2 (SP1) - 10.50.2425.0 (X64) Apr 6 2011 21:03:25 Copyright (c) Microsoft Corporation Enterprise Edition (64-bit) on Windows NT 6.1 <X64> (Build 7601: Service Pack 1)

Was the fix available after this version? In which SP?
