When I try to connect to a server, the available server list has dublicates.

Please note SQL Server is 32-bit on X64 Windows 7 OS.

Thanks for writing in to Microsoft. We greatly value your feedback. We understand your problem, and how fixing this could improve productivity.

However, given the work that would be involved in implementing this work, and triaging against our current set of deliverables, we do not think, we would be able to get to this in the near future.

Also you would have the opportunity (should you have the need to do so) to manually delete the duplicates.

Having said that, we value your suggestions, and would like to assure you that, we would keep these ideas in mind, when we do revisit this feature in the future.

Thanks again for providing feedback and making SQL Server the greatest Database server.

This is typically due to connecting to the server with different credentials or different auth methods.

The good news: we will have access to the MRU list in Denali, at least according to this Connect item:
