Description

There are cases when it is simpler to use detach/attach instead of backup/restore. For example, if the database is very large and you lack for resources. Unfortunately attaching a database cannot be done without recovering. It becomes even more important if you make copies of a database during creating an availability group. In this case you have to stick to backup/restore.

Thanks for your feedback.

Unfortunately, given current priorities, we won't be able to work on this for the next release.

Please let us know if you believe this should be reconsidered, indicating the reason for severity/priority.
