Description

Using SQL Server 2008R2. When users (using Windows 7) attempt to print a report, a dialog box appears indicating that they have to allow Reporting Services to make a change to their computer. The dialog box is title "User Account Control". Note that these users are not local administrators. These reports are called from a Web application.

Thank you for your feedback we appriciate it. This is by design. There is the possibility to change the internet explorer policy to not prompt for installation of Active X controls, but to automatically install the controls. This is a small security risk that opens the door for other Active X controls. Another option to avoid the prompt is to install the control using SMS and have it pushed down to the system without the having the customer to do any work.
