Description

I 'm looking for a cpu report that shows how many of the cpu time used by sql is used for:
-handling connections
-queries : compiling, parallel, hashes
-db compression
- ...

TO get a better insight what parts of sql use the cpu.. 

We have an application that creates connections all the time and I would like to see how many * of cpu time used by sql is spend on this and compiling queries, ...

Hello. Thanks for logging this Connect item.

In this case the recommendation is to use the SQL Server Performance Dashboard Reports (http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=29063) or do custom queries on DMVs such as sys.dm_exec_query_stats, sys.dm_os_wait_stats and perfmon counters - for an example see http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/magazine/cc135978.aspx or http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/magazine/cc135978.aspx.
