Please read my post here:

Basically we can put a SQL comment in front of a query using an indexed datetime order by clause and get something to work that is otherwise not working through ODBC.  See samples below.

We can reproduce, and can upload a sample database we created (privately) to MS for testing and verification of this bug.

Attached is a zip file.  You will need to change the destination directory for the database and the location of the text file to load, both are commented in the sql file within.

Where you able to reproduce with the data provided? Was this a duplicate? I'd appreciate any additional information you can provide. This is still an issue for our production server.
