Description

When changing the page verify option for a database, all execution plans in the plan cache associated with that database are flushed. Books online indicates several ALTER DATABASE SET options which can cause a plan cache flush. This setting is not among those listed.

The documentation for this behavior should be consistent with the actual behavior.

I have added PAGE_VERIFY. Thank you for pointing this out. It will take a couple of weeks to appear in MSDN for SQL Server 2012. AS much as several months for SQL Server 2008 R2 documentation.
