The following set-based logic pattern, where <filter1> and <filter2> are both based on MEMBERVALUE, does not evaluate correctly in SSAS 2012:

EXCEPT( <set1>, FILTER( <set1>, FILTER( <set1>, <filter1> ), <filter2> ) )

However, the equivalent set-based logic pattern, where the nested FILTER statement is flattened out, does evaluate correctly:

EXCEPT( <set1>, FILTER( <set1>, <filter1> AND <filter2> ) )

H Billi,

Thanks for reporting this issue , unfortunately this doesn't fit in SQL 2016. I will close this as won't fix, please open a support case for this if it still is an issue.
