Description

We were trying to transfer data from HDInsight to SQL DB using SSIS, but were not able to do so.

We were trying to follow the steps as suggested on one article here: http://alexeikh.wordpress.com/2012/05/03/moving-data-from-hive-table-in-ms-hadoop-into-sql-server-using-ssis-server/

We are getting an error “error [hy000] query returned non-zero code: failed Parse error line1:14 cannot recognize input near” in the SSIS ADO.NET source editor. Also it is showing a RED CROSS in both the source and destination field.

The screenshots and a video are posted on the link: http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/sqlintegrationservices/thread/5ed1f7ee-740b-49b7-a196-014e75a6b8ee

Hello Vishal. We’ve looked into this item. While it will not be addressed in the current release cycle, we have added it to a list for consideration for the next. Thank you for the feedback. We will keep track of the suggestion. -Walter A Jokiel, Program Manager, SQL Server (wajokiel@microsoft.com)
