Description

We want the QA instances of our database to be in SIMPLE recovery mode. We want most of the Production instances to be in FULL mode, though we want some of them to be in SIMPLE mode.

I don't see any way to do either of these things.

Hi John,

One thing you could try is the publish setting to "Deploy database properties". When you uncheck this option, it will not deploy Recovery Mode or any other database-level property. You could then have different publish profiles, one with the setting on and one with it off.

Although this would impact more properties than just Recovery Mode, this may give you what you need.

Thanks for your feedback!
