Description

One thing I find frustrating is when vendors and product groups ignore the built-in functionality in the shell. In this case Visual Studio is popping up telling me there is an update to SSDT. In this case it is for the Transact-SQL ScriptDom (64-bit). When I click "Update" it brings me to the SSDT download page. This seems unnecessary given the built-in Extensions and Updates functionality already in the shell.

Starting with the next version of VS SSDT will use the standard VSUpdate mechanism.
