I think that the information in sys.dm_db_stats_properties should be displayed per partition for incremental statistics.

Some of the columns (like last_updated and modification_counter) is difficult to understand or don't give any meaning if you don’t display the information per partition.

It would also be very useful to be able to check the information in sys.dm_db_stats_properties per partition when you're manually updating statistics.

A new DMF sys.dm_db_incremental_stats_properties is introduced in SQL Server 2014 SP2 to expose information per-partition for incremental stats.

Has this been "fixed" in SQL 2014 SP2, via the new DMF sys.dm_db_incremental_stats_properties (https://support.microsoft.com/kb/3170114)?
