Description

Using SSMS version 11.0.3000 this error prevents the event logs from being viewed.  Installing hotfixes up to CU6 does not work.

may be because leftover from previous installation of SSMS

confirmed for SQL Server 2016 SP1 CU1 and SSMS 13.0.16000.28
can not run activity monitor when expand processes
The given key was not present in the dictionary. (System.Windows.Forms)

Hello Andy.
Thanks for bringing this to our attention. This has been fixed. The change will be included in a future release or servicing release for SQL Server.
