As per plan, we have migrated Disco Tabular mode cubes to SQL14 CTP2. Everything went fine but we had few observations on the compatibility level settings.

Along with SQL14 CTP2, we have installed the SSDT (SQL Server Data Tools (MSBI)) from the link below as we are not getting with SQL Server 2014.

While deploying the cubes we have option to choose the compatibility level but in the SSDT the Compatibility Level for SQL 2014 is not appearing in the drop down hence we deployed the cubes with the existing compatibility level only.

Is this something expected behavior in CTP2? If so, will it gets resolved in the RTM version?

Please let us know in case if we miss anything or if you need any additional inputs from our end.

Please find the screen shots in the attached document.

There is no new compatibility level for SQL 14 so this is by design.
