Description

Now that you are going to change the WebForm designer in Visual Studio "Orcas" from "Trident" (MSHTML IE-based) to "Quartz" (FrontPage-based):

http://blogs.msdn.com/mikhailarkhipov/archive/2007/01/20/sapphire-new-web-form-designer-in-visual-studio-orcas.aspx

I would like to request good extensibility support for Visual Studio add-ins regarding Web forms and HTML pages.

Hello

Designer support IE4 level of DOM/DHTML, therefore you can use IHtmlDocument2 and related interface to inspect and change elements on the page. You can retrieve interface from HtmlWindow by getting tabObject in design view and QI it for IHtmlDocument2.

Thanks
