Problem with Orcas V1 ISO image installation.

See thread

After install completes without error, the only help available locally is "Help on Help"

Help index appears complete, but selecting entries (e.g. System.Int32) gives a broken link error page.

The key repro steps appears to be related to pattern of VM usage going on here (new guest was not created from scratch, but cloned).

Re-create steps updated. Note this is the ISO downloaded from MSDN downloads (which checksums the download... so confident the ISO file is not corrupted).

Note additions to forum thread on this issue:

Repro steps:
1) Install Windows XP SP2
2) Install Visual Studio Codename Orcas Beta1
(download from:
3) Install MSDN
4) Start->All Programs->Microsoft Developer Network->MSDN
5) Check the contents of "Contents" Tab.
6) Check the contents of "Index" Tab
7) Set filter(e.g.Visual C#) and then check the contents
8) Click one item in the left treeview of "Contents" Tab and then check the page load in the right panel

Actual Results:
All test pass.

Added (what appear to be) the relevant set up log files (let me know if others would be relevant).

Plus image of what I see after opening MSDN library for orcas.
