Description

In order for 64-bit systems to connect to a Visual FoxPro database, a 64-bit OLE DB driver is required. Since none exists or is currently planned, all systems that must interoperate with VFP must remain 32-bit.

In SQL Server 2008 it's very easy to run a SSIS package in 32-bit mode from SQL Server Agent.

For example, I need to use Integration Services and connect to a DBF file, I can't do this becouse SQL Server is install in Windows Server 2008 and it is 64bits version!
Is a very important a 64bits driver

Is really a need to have this driver working in 64 bit systems. If you ask us to move to another platform then we need this.

I don't understand this voting system at all. How this issue has been resolved and when? Last time I created a .Net code to access VFP on Vista 64 I had to compile targeting x86.

Interesting solution for Foxpro buyers & Developers.
I remember when MS did Windows NT as a multiplatform.
Definitely, a different idea about what is a multiplatform system.
