Description

When adding a style sheet to a Master page like this:

 <link rel="Stylesheet" href="~/style.css" type="text/css" />

Intellisense does not recognise the contents of the CSS file when editing the child pages. The link is still rendered correctly in the browser however.

I would suggest a warning that the href is not valid would be a good idea, especially since the server manipulates the href in master pages.

Using ~/style.css isn't a valid path. Using the tilde to reference the base of the application may only be used in server controls, and that isn't a server control.
