Description

I have a Silverlight 2 RTW application in VB.Net. I have a UserControl in my project that I have wriiten called MyComboBox that Inheirits UserControl. I have an xmlns:local in my XAML code that references my project assembly. In the following XAML code line, VSTS2008SP1 flags the x:Name as "Unknown attribute Name on Element MyComboBox." According to the Silverlight documentation, a UserControl has an Attribute called Name.

The error flagged in the VS2008 XAML Designer causes the XAML Designer not to show any of the UserControl Design preview.

 What is wrong and how do I eliminate the error and get the Designer to Preview my UserControl?

<local:MyComboBox x:Name="Title" Width="200" HorizontalAlignment="Stretch" Grid.Column="1" />
