Description

I installed Visual Studio 2010 on my PC and I made a simple example and try to use Debug, but when I press F5 I got the following error "Unable to start the debugger" and like sugestion the component "diasymreader.dll" is not correctly installed and I must repair the .Net Framework. But the sugestion didn't help.

I run as Administrator (now) and VSTraceLog.exe stop working every time that I enter in debug mode, but the Debug works.

Thanks,

Hi ctescu,

Did you run the regsvr32 from an elevated Command Prompt (click the Command Prompt shortcut and select Run As Administrator)?

After I run regsvr32 diasymreader.dll I got the error 0x80004005.

Thanks for reporting the issue.

Perhaps the diasymreader.dll registration didn't happen during setup for some reason. Could you try registering diasymreader.dll using the following command?

regsvr32 diasymreader.dll
