Description

If an add-in adds a CommandBarPopup to a Toolbar and a CommandBarPopup to a CommandBarPopup (in this order), VS hangs. If the order is the opposite, it doesn't hang.

Hello Carlos,

My apologies that I didn’t send you a response via Connect until now:

We confirmed that on our latest internal drops that this is working as expected, though there is a slight difference from Orcas: the toolbar popup item and menu popup item don't have any children so in Dev10 they're disabled (this is by design). In Orcas, they're enabled but when expanded there's just an empty stub shown.

Thank you,
