Hi LukeBro,

Thanks for taking the time to send us feedback to make the product better.

During the Visual Studio 2010 prereleases, we intentionally made a decision to chain uninstall all of the companion products when someone runs a Visual Studio 2010 pre-release Uninstall. To work around this if you have multiple Visual Studio 2010 pre-released products installed and uninstall one of them, you will need to run repair on each of the remaining products.

This experience will change for when the product officially releases. Like in Visual Studio 2008, we will turn off the ability to uninstall all products and if you have multiple Visual Studio 2010 released products installed and choose to uninstall one of them, the remaining products should work just fine.

Thanks For using Visual Studio 2010!

Well, in a unlikely scenario were the Developer has installed Visual Studio 2008, SQL Server 2008 R2,and Visual Studio 2010 B1. I just uninstalled only Visual Studio 2010 B1 and all my other applications crashed and I can't even re-installed them. Even PowerShell had lost functionality. Just looking for a full reimaging of my developer environment.

Can't find a workaround yet.
