Description

If you have a script statement <script language="javascript" type="text/javascript" src="test.js"> and immediately follow it (on the same line) with <title> then the title wont appear in the TOC. Similarly if the TocOrder tag immediately following the script tag is <meta name="Microsoft.Help.TocOrder" content="3" />, then the order statement will be ignored.

eg. 1. Topic wont be seen in TOC

<script language="javascript" type="text/javascript" src="test.js"></script><title>Errors Test</title>

eg. 2. Topic wont be set as 3rd item in TOC

<script language="javascript" type="text/javascript" src="test.js"></script><meta name="Microsoft.Help.TocOrder" content="3" />
