There should be the ability to extend types (especially interfaces and more) with PROPERTIES not only methods.

A good scenario for when you need properties rather than functions, everything in xaml binding is about properties, not methods.
Also, it's impossible to see method (function) results in the debugger visualizer, properties can.

This is a quite common request, and is already on our radar. We have not been able to come up with a really good design for this feature, but we keep working on it!

Hi all,
I'd like to see that feature, too.
Think about RIA in Silverlight:
i.e. you could extent a ria-generated classes instead of using thousands of valueConverters (i.e byte[] to image).
Since libraries on server and silverlight side (system.drawing) are different you can't use a .shared partial class.

By the way: you should make some methods of generated classes public then (raiseNotifiy....)
