This issue is not actionable if we cannot reproduce it, in order to determine what is going on.

Since we have not heard back from you in some time, I am going to go ahead and resolve this issue as a duplicate of the issue we originally suspected. If you can supply the dump that we need, then please feel free to do so, re-activate the issue, and we can take a look.

Thanks,

Were you able to create dump? I had resolved this as a dupe of the other, but we can take a look if you have dump. Otherwise, I will re-resolve as a duplicate.

The dupe determination was made based on the call stack that was supplied when you open the bug.

If you have a dump, please upload it, and we will be happy to take a look.

So what's the solution? I don't think it's a duplicate.

How did you find out that it's a duplicate of 577697 (VS2010 Crashes On File Rename!)?
I have just create a dump file, do you want me to upload it?

Thanks for taking the time to send us this issue.

It appears that this is the same issue as Connect ID 577697.

As such, I am resolving this as a duplicate.

Unfortunately, I didn't create a dump file then, I'll do it next time it crashes and send it.

Thanks for reporting the issue.
Could you please provide us with a mini dump file? You can get detailed steps about how to get the dump file at : http://blogs.msdn.com/debugger/archive/2009/12/30/what-is-a-dump-and-how-do-i-create-one.aspx

It would be greatly appreciated if you could provide us with that information as quickly as possible.

You can upload your dump to the workspace:

Password:zT)h33NV11@0

Please use "FeedbackID-585382" as the file name.

Thanks!

Also I deleted contents of the Temp directory some time ago, if it helps.
