I have a problem with Firefox 3.6.8 (Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; Windows NT 6.1; nl; rv: Gecko/20100722 IE) , Firefox 4.0b4 (Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:2.0.b4) Gecko/20100818 IE) and Maxthon v3.0.17.1000 (all tested on Windows 7). When I do a request to a IIS7 or Visual Studio 2010 both with .Net Framework v4.0.30319 (problem also with v4.0.30318) I get back a .aspx page without the JavaScript of default controls like the LinkButton and the GridView. It still shows my custom JavaScript.
Firefox works fine when instead of ‘…/20100722 IE’ it has ‘…/20100722 Firefox/3.6.8’ (in the about screen). It seems the only different between working and not working Firefox versions.
I have no idea what the problem can be and it only occurs on Microsoft based websites ( for example shows a no JavaScript version). I think the IIS7 and the ASP.NET Development Server misinterpreted the browser and generates a wrong .aspx.

This is a Windows Thing... If I new what rv: meant I could have a deeper understanding of the problem. What I do know is on machines that return the following Agent Info:
"Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv: Gecko/20100722 Firefox/3.6.8" renders my .eot fonts big and the css is off too. In addition this only affected OS with a screen resolution of 1280x960 and 1280x600.
