Description

.On the Test Plan in Microsoft Test Manager I see that there are the following states "active" and "inactive". We have a process in place that states that a Test Plan is created for each iteration and before any testing can be started the test plan needs to be approved. How can we add the following states to the test plan itself: "pending approval", "approved" "active" and "retired"?

.On the test suite there are the following states in the upper right , "in planning" "in progress" and "completed", we want to customize these states to "in design", "approved", "in progress" and "finished".

.On the Test Suite properties in Microsoft Test Manager I see that there are the following states "active" and "inactive". We have a process in place that states that a Test Suite is created for each application development effort and before any testing of the application development effort can be started the test suite needs to be approved. How can we add the following states to the test suite itself: "pending approval", "approved" "active" and "retired"?

.On the test suite we see the links section. When we add a link to a document on the test plan we want the link copied to each test plan when they are initially created. How can we customize how the links section of a test suite works?

.On the test suite properties page we see the 3 reports "Current State of Tests", "Failed Tests by Reasons", and "Failed Tests by Anlaysis", we've heard we can't customize these is that true, if it's true that we can't customize them how can we disable them and have them not show up?

.We use individual tags on test steps in our current in house custom test management system, for example we may mark an individual step as a regression step, is there a way to add a column or attribute to test steps on test cases in MTM?
