Would be possible to develop and make available an add-on for the Express family to design local reports like the one exists for the former editions of VWD?

Also a developer in a MS shop for the last 10+ years and now the CTO for my company I've finally had it with the politics that play into all the product decisions at Microsoft. Seems like the needs and desires of the customer is the last thing they are concerned about. We are migrating away from MS, too many headaches, problems, bugs and other issues that they blatantly ignore and\or claim are "by design".

Oh, marvelous, what for a wise decision!
Thousands of projects based on VSExpress aren't now able for modernizing.
Do you think these politics of products are custom friendly?

A software developer of vb since version 3.

Thank you for your feedback.

Our business has decided to discontinue support for Reporting Add-on in the Visual Studio Express SKU's starting in Visual Studio 2010.

The workaround for this is:
a) Download the ReportViewer.exe Redist for the run time.
b) Use Business Intelligence Development Studio 2008 as the report designer. BIDS is available in the SQL Express with Advanced Services free download.
