I would like to include jquery in my MasterPage with the above url because some of the pages are https and some are http. Although this works fine in any browser, Visual Studio fails to recognise this form of the url and will only provide intellisense if I begin with http.

Thanks a lot for your feedback. This bug has been resolved and will be available in the next versions of Visual Studio.
