I have 2 tables, one is Employees, another one is Requests, using MVVM model, load data using RIA services. The ItemsSource of ComboBox is binding to Employees while its SelectedValuePath is binding to a property named requester_id in SelectedRequest. For the first time loading data, no problem at all. But if I try to change the SelectedRequest, the ComboBox can bind to the value at several seconds, then it disappeared.

The statement that Microsoft is still supporting Silverlight and will continue to until some future date is simply not true.
This is a prime example.

I have uploaded a project for you to test, once the problem can start on the first time, try to click Load button again and wait to see whether the selected item will be disappeared, if not, try one more time. Thanks.
