Description

The formatting for a TimeSpan using the FormatString property in XAML is not formatting properly. I tested the same formatting in .NET 4.0 binding for WPF and it worked as expected.

Looking at the type information, it also looks like TimeSpan does not inherit from IFormattable, even though it implements the method with the same signature that IFormattable requires. Not sure if this is related at all.
