If you have no connectionstring set in web.config when you click the publish feature (create profile etc), it will come with an alert box saying "Object reference not set to an instance of an object".

Please also see my other bug report about having to manually clear the project everytime you want to publish and not use the preview feature.

Hi Martin,

This is unfortunately a known bug that has been fixed after the RC. This will definitely be fixed by RTM, and we're considering options for how to release a fix for RC customers before RTM releases.
