Since a couple of days, when I start VS2012 I get an error that says I cannot connect to my TFS account because either the server is unavailable or I do not have the necessary permissions

We cannot reproduce the issue. Try the following settings:
- Your TFS URL <>
- Path: tfs
- Port: 8080
- Protocol: HTTP
