Same problem. To reproduce: Open Visual Studio 2012, Create new web project (I created a webforms project).
Run code analysis. 2 Errors appear.

I'm having the same issue creating an MVC4 Internet Application as well. Running on Visual Studio Professional 2012 11.0.60315.01 Update 2. As soon as I try to run the code analysis, I get the two errors below.

Both are referenced in the solution, but their version numbers by default are (and running the updates via Nuget brings them to but still returns the same error).

CA0058    Error Running Code Analysis    CA0058 : The referenced assembly 'DotNetOpenAuth.AspNet, Version=, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=2780ccd10d57b246' could not be found. This assembly is required for analysis and was referenced by: c:\users\dev1\documents\visual studio 2012\Projects\MvcApplication1\MvcApplication1\bin\MvcApplication1.dll, c:\users\dev1\documents\visual studio 2012\Projects\MvcApplication1\packages\Microsoft.AspNet.WebPages.OAuth.2.0.20710.0\lib\net40\Microsoft.Web.WebPages.OAuth.dll.    [Errors and Warnings]    (Global)

CA0001    Error Running Code Analysis    CA0001 : The following error was encountered while reading module 'Microsoft.Web.WebPages.OAuth': Assembly reference cannot be resolved: DotNetOpenAuth.AspNet, Version=, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=2780ccd10d57b246.    [Errors and Warnings]    (Global)

Hi Bill44077, thank you for submitting feedback on Visual Studio and .NET Framework. I can't repro this issue in my case. I use Visual Studio Ultimate 2012 Version 11.0.60223.01 Update 2 CTP. May i ask which version of VS 2012 do you use? Thanks for your time.
