The TFS Product Team has a deadline coming up very soon for our next release. We would like to make sure we investigate and fix this issue before then. Could you please respond to the previous comment soon?
If you are still blocked from configuring TFS, it would help for us to take a look at your logs. Please send them to TFCare a*t Microsoft d*ot com.

I'd like a little more clarity around why you filed this bug. Is it because of the successful exit code, despite the verifications failing? If so, what version of TFS are you running - TFS 2012 RTM?
Can you confirm what happens if you reboot and try to configure again? Are you able to do so without further issue?
