I would like to debug the DLL that I am workig on. To do this, I first start the exe which is using this DLL, and this exe starts up the DLL. The DLL will show a small form, so when I see the form, I know the DLL is running. Second I select DEBUG - Attach to Process... I used this approach in the tryout version of Visual Studio 2010, and it worked fine. Now in the Visual Studio 2012, it is not working. I get a messagebox title 'Operation taking longer than expected', saying 'A remote operation is taking longer than expected. Can anyone help me?
