I have a light switch app were I am using the autocomplete box to select a store that is for a route. they select the route and the store autocomplete box gets the stores for that route and when they go to select a store the change event fires twice, the first is the selected store and the second is the first store in the list. So the desired store never is able to be selected

is there a way to change the value that is displayed for the selected item? for example instead of showing 1897 as the store number could i have it show the address -> Toronto - 1111 front st

It still will bounce to the first in the list if there is items in the first column in the table, even if you have two primary key were the first column is allowed to have the same value as long as the second column has a different value.
the work around that i have found is in the design to move the column that has the least amount of duplicate values to the first position and then then use the change event and do a check if the currently selected item is the same as the previous to not change. but there is a problem with do all also, because even though that column has the least amount of duplicate value if you pick one after the other that has the same value it will not change. so you would have to select a different item that has a different value then change it to the value you want.

I have found out why it is firing twice. in my datasource i have a table that has three primary keys route customer and store all are integers. It was selecting the first in the list because all item had the same route number. when I rearrange the columns in my datasource and put it store customer then route it does not fire twice.

I am going to check if it will fire twice if there is two stores with the same number but different customers
