When using a radiobutton or radiobutton list, checkbox or checkboxlist in visual studio 2012, the text renders under the radio button instead of beside it. This only happens when the control is placed inside a contentplaceholder.

Thank you for submitting the issue.

This issue repros only on Visual Studio 2012 templates. It does not repro if you create a webforms page without the Site.master. The issue is with the CSS being used in the templates which causes the label text for the radio button list and the checkbox list to be rendered in the next line. The list controls render each of control and the label separately. In the Site.css, the label is styled as display:block which causes it render on the next line. Please edit the styling for label in Site.css from display:block to display:inline to render the text next to the control

Additionally this issue is fixed with the One ASP.NET templates which use bootstrap. They are shipped with Visual Studio 2013.
